There’s great news from Great Newsome – as the East Yorkshire brewery sprints into 2012 with a bevy of three new brews… and a European EXPORT drive!
The brewery – based at Winestead, near Withernsea on the Yorkshire Coast – remains tight-lipped about its new porter, to be launched in March, but its new chocolate beer, Chocolate Hopper will be more familiar to fans.
The ale was trialled last November and went down so well that an improved version has now been added to the Great Newsome brewing list. It will go into production in April.
Meanwhile, Great Newsome is asking its customers to help determine the release of a new bottled beer – with the chance to win a case of it!
The brewery wants to add a new bottled beer to support its cask products – and it wants to know upon which of its range the new bottled ale should be based.
So if you’re an aficionado of the brewery, use the products page on its website to select your favourite and email your choice to bottledbeer@greatnewsomebrewery.co.uk (remembering that Sleck Dust, Frothingham Best, Pricky Back Otchan, Jem’s Stout, Yule Do and Newsome Noel already come in bottles).
Then, if your entry is first out of the hat, you’ll win a glut of bottles of your favourite ale!
While all this is going on, Great Newsome is planning to invade Europe – starting with an export drive of beers into Holland!
As such, the brewery is on the lookout for Dutch importers who would be interested in trying out its beers.
