The Stonegate Pub Company – which owns Yates and the Slug and Lettuce chain – has posted excellent new revenue growth figures for the first half of the year.
Total revenue across Stonegate’s 660 managed pubs and bars was up 12.8 per cent to £342m for the period to April 10, up from £303m on the previous half-year. Like-for-like revenue increased 2.1 per cent, while like-for-like pub profit rose 10.6 per cent.
Stonegate increased its pub stocks by 53 at a stroke last September when it snapped up almost all of the Tattershall Castle Group’s stock.
The company says it has continued, over the summer to “trade well on a very strong first half”, and cashed in on Euro 2016 by offering both Sky and BT in 394 of its pubs.
