Scunthorpe serves up a bevvy of real ales!

The 19th Scunthorpe beer festival hits the road this year, with more than 25 real ales on the stocks for a four-day extravaganza!
Cheers! It’s Scunthorpe beer festival.
The ales stretch from the East Midlands and Yorkshire to Greater Manchester and the North-West, and they will be served up alongside ciders, perries and hot and cold food.
Limited-edition, stemmed half-pint souvenir festival glasses are available at £3 each and tombola will make up the entertainment.
The fest is at the Royal Hotel, Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe. from September 20 to October 2.
CAMRA members get free admission and there is a sliding scale of admission prices for everyone else, as follows:
Thursday, September 29: 3.30pm-11.pm £2
Friday, September 30: Noon-5pm FREE; 5-11pm £2
Saturday, October 1: Noon-11pm £2
Sunday, October 2: Noon-4pm FREE
