Forget Knebworth – there’s only one thing you can call your music and ale festival if you want to raise cash for testicular and prostate cancer…
Enter the new KNOBWORTH Festival – which has just taken place at a country pub in Northamptonshire!
The two-day event was hosted by The Angel Inn at Yarwell, near Oundle over the over the Bank Holiday (May 5 and 6), with a host of ales and bands.
Entry was free – though charity cash was extracted from visitors in the form of auctions and T-shirt sales, as they enjoyed 16 real ales, 12 ciders and 10 live acts.
Angel owners Nick and Di Lander came up with the naughty name to boost the charity efforts, and the Landers are no strangers to naming music events after good causes.
Their Woofstock Festival – in aid of the Retired Greyhound Trust – is in its fourth year and takes place again on July 28-29.
