Tykes invited to talk out about Yorkshire’s best pub

Ale-loving Yorkshire folk are being invited to nominate their favourite pub in one of the biggest competitions ever… to find the county’s most popular local. The contest has been organised by Welcome to Yorkshire, whose chief executive Gary Verity said: “We want everyone to have their say and tell us about the local they love.
“It only takes a few seconds – the time it takes to pull a good pint!
“It might be at the core of the community, pulls a great local pint or does fantastic food.
“We firmly believe Yorkshire has some of the finest, most varied pubs in the entire UK and this competition is a celebration of that.”
Tykes who want to have a say should visit www.yorkshire.com/pub and explain the reason for their choice of hostelry in 20 words
The contest closes on May 20.
