If you’re looking to run a pub for Cheshire family brewer Robinsons, Gill Dennett should be your first call!
Gill has joined the brewery as Business Opportunities Development Manager, taking over from John Lavin, who retired recently.
She is the first point of contact for all prospective tenants wishing to invest in a tenancy with Robinsons.
She has worked in the industry for over 25 years – including having a share in a freehold pub in East London to working alongside Mitchells & Butlers, Punch and most recently Marstons.
She said: “It’s about finding the right person for the right pub and also being brave enough to say when a person isn’t right for the pub or equally the pub isn’t right for the person.
“Having spent a long time in the industry, I understand licensees and their businesses. Despite the rumours, the pub industry is not dead – far from it.
“Of all the regional brewers, I couldn’t have come to a better one than Robinsons. They have some fabulous pubs, some brilliant operators and a sense of tradition.
“Plus the fact I get to stroke the shire horses – perfect!”
She numbered her three priorities as: ensuring that Robinsons is the number onechoice for those wishing to invest in a sustainable pub business; to find the right tenants for the brewery’s openings; and to replace existing tenants, as they retire or move on, with even better successors.
She is inviting prospective tenants to call 0161 612 4112, email recruitment@frederic-robinson.co.uk or visit at www.myrobinsonspub.com
