Where will you be when the Queen celebrates her 60 years on the throne, this weekend?

More to the point, will you remember?!

To help you, your landlord can now give you a special “Celebration Certificate”, personalised with a record of your Jubilee day out… thanks to the British Beer & Pub Association (BBPA)!

Britain’s brewers are gearing up for a Diamond Jubilee bonanza this weekend – with pubs expecting to sell an extra 60-80 MILLION pints and 7.5m more meals over the four-day, extended holiday.

And to mark the event, the BBPA has made the certificate – for landlords to freely download and customise (see the Hand-Pumped link below).

Hundreds of British brewers have turned out one-off Jubilee ales to mark the event, and BBPA Chief Executive Brigid Simmonds said: “Here’s to a great Jubilee weekend for Britain’s pubs. When it comes to celebrating a great occasion, beer and pubs have so much to offer that says something special about being British.

“With so many great Jubilee beers on sale, I hope people visit their local to raise a glass to the Queen.”

Meanwhile, “Royal” brewer Ilkley Brewery has a special ale going into a chain of 28 northern supermarkets in time for the event. Booths supermarkets will stock Ilkley Jubilee – a 4.5 per cent limited edition special, which Princess Anne gave the thumbs-up to, when she visited the West Yorkshire brewer in April.
